6. Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including tracking pixels and web beacons. These collect information such as your IP address, the pages you visit, what you click on, and the site or ad you arrived from.
We use these to:
- make the website work and remember your preferences and cart

We use Google advertising and analytics services, and marketing automation and tracking provided by HubSpot. These providers set their own cookies and handle information under their own privacy policies.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may stop parts of the website working properly.

8. Overseas disclosure
Most of our core business systems store data in Australia, including our customer relationship management system, our accounting and inventory systems, and our websites.
However, some of your personal information is likely to be accessed, processed or stored outside Australia. This happens in the following ways:
- Offshore staff carry out customer service and administrative work for us. They are engaged directly by SafePak, they work on SafePak systems and SafePak devices, and the information stays under our control at all times. They are bound by the same confidentiality and privacy obligations as our Australian staff, and they may only use your information to do work for us.
- Our software providers are global businesses. Even where our data is stored in Australia, their support, security and product teams may access it from other countries, and they may use sub-processors located overseas. Based on our providers’ published terms, this is likely to include the United States.
- Our advertising and analytics providers, including Google, process website and advertising data in the United States and other countries where they operate.
Before disclosing personal information overseas, we take steps that are reasonable in the circumstances to ensure the recipient handles it in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles. This includes contractual protections in our agreements with service providers.
If you would like more detail about a specific provider or location, contact us using the details in section 13.
9. How we store and protect personal information
We hold personal information in electronic systems and, in some cases, in paper records at our premises.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These steps include access controls and user permissions, encryption of information in transit to our website, secure hosting, staff training, and physical security at our premises.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we take our obligations seriously, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. How long we keep personal information
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, and for as long as we are required to keep it by law. Financial and transaction records are generally kept for at least seven years to meet taxation and corporations law requirements. Credit information is subject to separate retention rules under Part IIIA of the Privacy Act.
Where we no longer need personal information and are not required to keep it, we take reasonable steps to destroy it or de-identify it.
11. Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making to make decisions about you. Applications for credit accounts are submitted through an online form, but the assessment and the decision are made by a person.
If this changes, we will update this policy.
12. Access and correction
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is wrong, out of date or incomplete.
To make a request, email [email protected] or write to us at 75 Catherine Crescent, Lavington NSW 2641.
We will ask you to verify your identity before we release information. We will respond to your request within 30 days. There is no charge for making a request, though we may charge a reasonable fee for supplying copies of a large volume of records.
In some circumstances the Privacy Act allows us to refuse access or correction. If that happens, we will tell you in writing why, and how you can complain about it.
